    Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) to Close Albuquerque Call Center that Employs 700
    Citibank, Retail Banking unit of Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) reported that it has decided to close its Albuquerque call center that gives employment to 700 people currently. The company in a statement issued on Wednesday said that it will convert most of the jobs to 'work form home' positions while it will help those who will lose their jobs to find another position both inside and outside Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C).

    The Company is expecting that at least 50 employees will lose their job as a part of this restructuring. Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) said that this step will help the Bank save capital and provide a more flexible working option for the employees.


    Shares of Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) close at $4.94 on Thursday which is a strong resistance point. Major resistance point for Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) above current price is at $5.07 while major support levels for Citigroup Inc. below $4.94 are at $4.75, $4.60, $4.37, $4.22, $4.07 and $3.97.
