    Bank of America announced today that it has been recognized as the most valuable banking brand in the world, according to the fifth edition of BrandFinance(R) Global Banking 500 - an annual index of the top banking brands in the world.

    The report, which measures companies by both brand strength and brand value as of December 31, 2010, details how proactive marketing strategies and an improving domestic consumer banking market have seen the U.S. regain its place as the world's financial capital. According to Brand Finance, Bank of America increased in overall brand value by 15 percent to $30.6 billion, and also led global brand rankings in the wholesale banking and mortgage categories.


    Shares of Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC) are trading at $14.26 on Tuesday below resistance level of $14.37. Major support points for Bank of America Corp.
