A reports indicates that Google Inc. and Apple Inc. are both sniffing around mobile payment company Boku to boost the mobile payment capabilities of Android and iPhone. A report from TechCrunch said that Boku is in early talks with Apple and Google and this deal could also involve deeper level of integration or an outright acquisition.

The deal amount that is being discussed is about $250 million, which will involve changes for both Apple and Google. This kind of deal was thought over in the past as well, when Apple was almost on the verge to take over mobile advertiser AdMob before Google swooped in with around $750 million offer.
