    Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C)  Makes a Bold Decision - Reduces Checking Account Fees

    Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) has taken a bold step by reducing fees for its Gold checking account at time when other Banks are ending free checking. Citibank is trying to bring in revenue by making its checking accounts attractive to customers. The bank is reducing the fees as well as the minimum balance requirement on its Gold checking account. Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) is expecting to get additional Business through this step.

    These changes will be effective from Nov 1. The changes are made only for customers between $50,000 to $100,000 in account. They will not be required to pay any fees. Earlier this limit was $100,000 while those with less than $50,000 will still pay the fees.


    Shares of Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) stock closed at $3.85 on Wednesday at a strong support level. The support levels below that at $3.74 and $3.43 which are very weak. Resistance levels for Citigroup inc. -  $3.98, $4.1.
