ACTG - Acacia Research Corporation (NASDAQ:ACTG)
Acacia Research Corp. (ACTG) announced on Monday that it is partnering with Renesas Electronics on a strategic patent licensing alliance. Acacia works by partnering with inventors and patent owners, then licenses their patents to corporate users, for a share of the revenue. Shares of Acacia rose about 9% on Tuesday. It is expected to gain some more on Wednesday.

    ADAC -Adama Technologies Corp (OTC:ADAC)
Adama Technolgies Corporation(ADAC) gained 347% on Tuesday making it the highest gainer of the day. The PR which resulted in the spike doesn't seems that impressive. Insufficient information about the Israeli company who is interested in Adama and about the deal makes it risky. They announced that they entered into negotiation with a privately-held clean tech company based in Israel. The Company holds approximately $4 million in assets and expects to generate revenue of approximately $10 million in 2011. There are some chances of a spike on Wednesday again but don't hold it till Thursday.

    MDT - Medtronic, Inc.(NYSE:MDT)
Medtronic Inc. (MDT) announced poor revenues of $3.77 billion, below analysts' estimates of $3.96 billion. Medtronic also lowered guidance for the year to $3.40 to $3.48 a share from its previous range of $3.45 to $3.55. MDT is not a 'buy' at this time. Shares dropped 10% on Tuesday.

    DAKT- Daktronics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DAKT)

Daktronics (DAKT) announced its quarterly results, with earnings of 6 cents per share which is 100% more than double what the company earned in the same quarter last year. Net sales came in at 100.5 million, down about 11% year over year. Shares of Daktronics jumped 17%.
