Lets have a look at Top stocks today.

BP - NYSE - BP plc (ADR)
The rumors that BP is consulting bankruptcy attorneys and planning Chapter 11 are premature. In fact, with BP shares down 45% since the explosion (though up 10% today), now might be a good time for those with guts of steel to buy. BP is one of the world's most profitable companies, paying $10 billion a year in dividends and boasting a $20 billion annual capex budget both of which could be dialed back substantially to pay for oil spill damages.

ABK - Ambac Financial Group Inc.
A day of relief for Ambac Shareholders. Shares were stable on Thursday with a 7% gains. As I said earlier, 'If ABK can prevent itself from going bankrupt, it will be the biggest blockbuster stock of this year'. Good Luck.

    VIRL - Virage Logic Corporation
Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS), a world leader in software and IP for semiconductor design, verification and manufacturing, announced that they will be taking over Virage Logic Corporation (VIRL). Synopsis will pay $12 in cash for each share of VIRL.

    TECO - Treaty Energy Corporation
Treaty Energy shares soared on announcement that it started production of oil on its first drilled well. A source of revenue for the company just started. Shares are expected to soar second consecutive day on Friday.

TRMA - Trico Marine Services Inc
